These terms govern your use of this website, operated by Waitlist. By using the site — reading the content, running the calculators, or completing the growth diagnostic — you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, don't use the site. This page is written in plain English; it's still a legal document.

What this site provides

Educational content. Guides, articles, comparisons, and local-market explainers about dental practice marketing. It's general information for practice owners, not advice tailored to your practice. Marketing decisions involve tradeoffs specific to your situation; treat our content as a starting point for your own judgment (and your own advisors).

Free tools. The marketing budget calculator, patient-value calculator, and growth diagnostic are provided free of charge. They are planning and educational instruments — see the next section.

Tool outputs are estimates, not advice

Calculator results and diagnostic read-outs are estimates generated from the inputs you provide and general frameworks we publish. They are not financial, legal, or business advice; not quotes or proposals; and not predictions of your results. Your actual economics depend on your market, competition, case mix, team, and execution — factors no web tool can see. We are not responsible for decisions you make based on tool outputs.

Intellectual property

Everything on this site — articles, guides, diagrams, tool designs, and copy — belongs to Waitlist or our licensors and is protected by intellectual property law. You're welcome to share links, and to quote brief excerpts with attribution and a link back. You may not republish full pages, scrape the site's content at scale, or present our materials as your own, without our written permission.

Acceptable use

Use the site lawfully and honestly. Don't submit false information through our forms, don't attempt to disrupt the site or its tools, don't scrape content or harvest contact details, and don't misrepresent your identity. We may block access for misuse.

What we don't promise

Plainly, because this matters in our industry: we do not promise or guarantee search rankings, patient counts, revenue figures, or any specific marketing outcome — on this site or in our services. Any statement about results on this site describes measured, attributable reporting methodology, not a promise that you'll get the same. If anyone selling you marketing guarantees outcomes, ask them to put the guarantee in the contract and watch what happens.

We link to outside sources (census data, platform documentation, industry publications) for your convenience. We don't control those sites and aren't responsible for their content, accuracy, or privacy practices. Tools on this site may rely on third-party services (such as analytics); their own terms apply to their services.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Waitlist is not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the site, its content, or its tools — including decisions made based on calculator estimates or diagnostic read-outs. Our total liability for any claim related to the site is limited to the amount you paid us for the site's use: zero dollars, since it's free. Some jurisdictions don't allow these limitations; where they don't, our liability is limited to the minimum the law permits.

Indemnification

You agree to defend and hold Waitlist harmless from claims arising from your misuse of the site, your violation of these terms, or content you submit through our forms that infringes someone else's rights.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Disputes will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Harris County, Texas.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as the site evolves. Material changes will be noted here with a new effective date. Continued use of the site after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
